Short story:
100% of proceeds from sales of these DEATH COUCH shirts will be given directly to my father to aid in payment of hospital bills from open-heart surgery.

Long story:
My father recently underwent open-heart surgery after a procedure to put a stent into one of his arteries turned into something much greater than we anticipated. He had two previous, "minor" heart-attacks which is what brought him into the hospital in the first place. His doctor originally determined he would need a stent put into one of his arteries. Once surgeons were inside they discovered 3 arteries nearly totally clogged and halted the surgery for the stent. They immediately suggested an open-heart operation. Thankfully, it was a success. The pain of the initial recovery was intense to say the least, and the road to full-recovery takes months.
My father is self-employed as the owner, and sole-employee, of a local tree cutting service. His work is physically demanding and his recovery has forced him to be out of work for quite a while. Add in the stress of extreme hospital bills and how you're going to pay them when you're not working and that's where I'm trying to come in to help. I'll be donating 100% of sales from these DEATH COUCH shirts to my father. No go-fund-me. You get a cool shirt (my very first long-sleeves I might add) and you're helping to support a good cause for a true, hard-working American.
